Lecture Theatre at Lanwades Park
In 2009 HRH The Princess Royal, the President of the Animal Health Trust, opened our new Lecture Theatre and Breakout Room facility located within the north wing of the Visitors Centre.
There cannot be many 60-seat totally modern and up-to-date purpose built lecture theatres inside such a beautiful Grade II listed building. Incorporating the latest possible audio-visual technology – whilst still retaining all the charm and character of the original building, you have to be here to feel the atmosphere!
Where else will you find a Breakout Room complete with a carved stone floor and with the original stable partitions and doors on show, yet combined with a thoroughly modern 40” LCD television screen for presentations?
Education has always been a major part of our remit as a charity and the AHT has long been a centre of excellence where post-graduate veterinary and scientific education is concerned. Our lecture theatre enables us to extend this part of our work to include the wider community and business.
