The Animal Health Trust has begun the development of a state-of-the-art cancer centre for animals here at Lanwades Park. Our brand new facility will treat horses, dogs and cats. It also aims to further knowledge and understanding of cancer, not only in animals, but also in people. For more information on our cancer centre and how you can join the fight, please click here.
On Saturday 17th March we will be opening the gates to the grounds at the weekends again and we hope that you will come and join us for our second season! In the early part of the season we will begin installing a small children’s play area here at Lanwades Park. We hope to grow this feature over the coming years.
2012 will also see us launch Lanwades Hall as a wedding venue. Our official launch party is a Wedding Fayre with a difference on Sunday 6th May from 11am – 4pm. So please come along and see Lanwades Hall as you have never seen it before!
The Stable Yard Coffee Shop is also adding a weekend brunch menu, serving toasted muffins, smoked salmon, free range eggs and lots more!
We have been very lucky to have been loaned two of the painted horses that were a feature of Newmarket for so many months. Steve and Caroline Shore have loaned us Wizard by Esther Albone and Sea The Stars by Stuart Roy. They are now in pride of place just outside the front door to the Visitors Centre. Please come and see them!
Inside our Visitors Centre, you will find our Gift Shop and the Stable Yard Coffee Shop . Our Visitors Centre is open Monday - Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Please come and pay a visit to this ‘hidden gem’, as it has been described by many of our visitors.
Within our Visitors Centre courtyard we are offering plants for sale. These plants have all been grown by our green fingered volunteers and staff! To complement these, we are also selling a small range of terracotta pots and other gardening accessories.

Become a volunteer at Lanwades Park. We can only operate with the help and assistance of a team of dedicated and willing volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers to help us in the Visitors Centre or in the grounds. |
